Services

We take a four pronged approach to healing the body. All of our services stimulate the cardiovascular system, immune system, endocrine system, and the nervous system. By enhancing circulation, immunity, hormones, neuronal tissue, and neurotransmitters, we are able to provide the body with controlled and specific messages to manage or eliminate symptoms of tissue and system dysfunction.

Acupuncture - A highly effective method of decreasing pain in the body and increasing circulation by the insertion of sterile and hair thin needles. All tissues need oxygen to thrive and function without pain and disease. Without adequate oxygen, the tissue suffers and pain results form tissue ischemia. Just as low oxygen and circulation to the heart produces chest pain known as angina, decreased oxygen and circulation in muscles due to tightness, spasm, or inflammation causes muscular pain. Acupuncture breaks the pain cycle by restoring circulation and enhancing oxygen to the tissue.

Chiropractic - A method of "touching" the nervous system in specific areas to control messages to specific target organs or muscles. The manipulations are suited to each individual depending on spinal condition. Manipulations are highly effective in managing pain in the joints and muscles, and calming nerve related pain.

Soft Tissue Massage - Our form of soft tissue massage is called Guasha. It is a method of restoring circulation to tissue that has been bound up due to scars or adhesions. It works by causing a slight irritation to the skin resulting in a small immune response. The immune cells act like little "pac-mans" and eat up the debris caused by the application of guasha. By performing this therapy, muscles are able to release pain, inflammation, spasm, and scars or adhesions from previous injuries. Guasha works great for any type of muscle pain whether it is acute or chronic.

Lifestyle Management - Adequate diet, supplementation, and exercise is the most important self therapy for healing the body. We work with each patient to modify and manage their diet, supplementation, and exercise to maximize healing of their symptoms or disorder. Without proper diet and exercise, the four systems (mentioned above) involved in healing suffer and adequate oxygen cannot reach tissues that need to be healed.
